Our Origin Story

Let’s be honest - airports can be pretty overwhelming for little explorers. The long queues, the unfamiliar sounds, and the endless waiting at the boarding gate can easily turn travel excitement into flight anxiety or restlessness.

Looking out at the runways one day, our Chief Adventure Officer, Captain Koko, had a brilliant idea. What if the wait wasn’t a waste of time? What if it could be the most exciting part of the entire trip?

That is how Playport was born. Located right in the heart of the New Guwahati International Airport, we are India’s very first experiential play and gaming lounge built exclusively for kids. We’ve tossed out the boring rows of metal airport chairs and replaced them with soft-play castles, arcade galaxies, and spaces where kids are encouraged to explore, laugh, and play before their flight.
